Put up for sale now before I change my mind: an Epiphone Blackbird (Nikki Sixx edition) bass. It plays well and, in my opinion, is nicer to play than a standard Thunderbird.

The bass has a kill switch, meaning the sound is either ON or OFF. The humbucker pickups are quite good and give a sound suitable for Mötley Crüe–style tones.

I personally like the neck. I have owned standard Thunderbirds as well, and this one has a more comfortable and faster neck.

There are some signs of use: a paint chip on the front and belt marks on the back, but that’s to be expected. It is a rock bass, after all.

Behind the bridge there is a “pinky anchor” spot, which Sixx’s basses had and still have.
