The Seiko digital alarm chronograph shows just how exciting digital quartz watches can be. The Seiko A829 is back. A digital quartz watch developed in the 1980s, it quickly achieved cult status thanks to its exceptional functionality and striking design. Among collectors, it is also known as the ‘Rotocall’, a nickname that refers to its operation via the octagonal, polygonal bezel. Instead of classic pushers, the bezel, which can be rotated in both directions, is used to switch between the displays. These include a timer, a second time zone and an alarm function. The LCD display is also based on the classic model and uses the characteristic font of the historical model. In addition, it offers practical enhancements such as an AM/PM display and a battery level indicator, which make everyday life even more convenient.
