The StellaMira 106mm ED2 Quadruplet is a flat-field telescope designed primarily for astrophotography. Its quadruplet (four lenses in two groups) optics, featuring two ED glass elements, deliver flat, high-contrast images with tight, round stars from corner to corner and very low chromatic aberration—even when using cameras with sensor sizes up to and including full-frame.
- Integrated field flattener: No need for a separate field flattener; the built-in flattener ensures a perfectly flat field as long as you are in focus.
- No specific back-focus distance required: Enjoy hassle-free setup without worrying about back-focus adjustments.
- Optional StellaMira 2" 0.8x Reducer / Flattener: Enables astrophotography at f/5.6 with an evenly illuminated, flat-field imaging circle suitable for sensor sizes up to APS-C.
- Dual-speed 3.2" rack-and-pinion focuser: Features a microfine 10:1 fine-focusing ratio for precise adjustments.
- 360° camera angle adjuster: Allows perfect image composition with full rotation capability.
- Accessory holders: Supplied 2" and 1.25" holders use non-marring brass compression rings to protect your accessory barrels.
- Versatile focuser threads: Includes 2” compression plus M63, M54, and M48 threads for compatibility with various accessories.
- Premium construction: Comes with CNC-machined aluminium tube rings, a carry handle, and a Losmandy-style dovetail.
- Integrated Synta-style finder clamp: The carry handle features a built-in clamp for guidescopes and other accessories.
- Two Synta-style finder shoes included: Expand your accessory options.
Though designed for astrophotography, the StellaMira 106mm ED Quadruplet can also be fitted with an optional Star Diagonal and eyepieces for visual astronomy. Its fully multicoated optics with ED glass lenses deliver wonderful views of the night sky.
