Frodo Redesign is the new generation of the popular custom folding knife from the Russian workshop NL Knives.
Like all knives from this maker, the Frodo Redesign is created with a high level of hand craftsmanship (over 90% of the work is done by hand), using premium steels (including various types of Damascus) and high-end materials.
Each Frodo Redesign knife is unique.

The knife is positioned as an EDC item that can also serve as a stylish accessory and a true gentleman’s knife. The model unquestionably has strong collectible value.

Redesign Improvements

In the Redesign version, a number of конструкtional and design updates have been implemented.

The blade has been increased by 3 mm.
High flat grinds and a thin edge geometry (approx. 0.2 mm behind the edge) have been retained, ensuring an exceptionally clean cut.
The knife’s mechanics have been improved: a reliable double-row ceramic bearing system provides smooth and effortless blade deployment using the front flipper.
The pivot screw size has been increased for greater durability.

The handle in the new version features:

Lightened liners
A new titanium pocket clip with a more ergonomic shape

All edges and corners on the handle and blade are fully rounded throughout all components (liners, spine, handle scale edges, backspacer, clip), improving comfort during use.

The finger choil on the handle is now trapezoidal for better ergonomics.
The backspacer has been redesigned to include a lanyard hole.
