Torso Electronics T-1 Algorithmic Desktop SEQUENCER

The Torso T-1 is an algorithmic 16-track sequencer with MIDI trio, USB MIDI and CV/Gate interface. Torso combines popular generative sequencers like Euclidean sequences, Turing machines with arpeggiators, chord generators and rounds everything off with extensive random functions. The little wonder box is also very connectable and can connect multiple devices via MIDI, USB-MIDI, CV/Gate and even via WiFi with Ableton Link. With the update 2.0 the Torso T-1 gets among other things two powerful new tools into its repertoire: Per-Step Editing: It is now possible to lock any number of parameter settings to any step of a sequence, thus countering the generative side of the T-1 with a highly complex and precise approach. FX tracks: The T-1 can now act as a MIDI effect. This means that it can apply its internal algorithms to incoming MIDI information. So you can turn your novice piano playing into versatile and multi-layered sequences in no time.
